Mike Glick(rhythm guitar) began playing guitar twenty years ago and quickly gravitated to jazz. Mike has always loved the swinging, percussive rhythm of the Hot Club of France and was delighted join a group of musicians playing gypsy style jazz.
Mike built his first guitar a decade ago when he was home with his infant son. Glick Guitars was born. Now Mike builds a few jazz archtops a year and his latest project is a Selmer-Maccaferri style guitar, like the one used by Django, which will be perfect for the Gendarmes sound.
Mike lives with his wife Ann Wisehart and son Russ and skips out on his day job as a mechanical engineer as often as he can to surf and play music.
